The IAF dropped pamphlets over select Gaza towns on Saturday calling on residents to leave in order to remain safe in case of counterterrorism operations in the area. Pamphlets dropped earlier in the week called on Gaza residents to turn hidden Hamas terrorists over to Israel.
The letters dropped Saturday read:
To the residents of the area,
Due to the anti-Israel activities carried out by terrorists in your area of residence, the Israeli Defense Army has been forced to respond and operate in this area. For your own safety, we request that you leave the area immediately.
