Color Red Test in Be'er Sheva at 13:00

A test of the Color Red incoming missile alert system has been scheduled for 1:00 Friday afternoon in the Be'er Sheva area. The test follows complaints of many residents of the city on Thursday that the alert system did not always sound, although it sounded during a demonstration at Be'er Sheva City Hall.

The siren will also sound in all surrounding communities in the outlying areas, including but not necessarily limited to: Omer, Meitar, Lahav, Lakiya, Rahat, Tel Sheva and Hura.

The test siren is scheduled to last for 45 seconds. In the event that there is an actual attack, the siren will sound TWICE.
