The anti-Semitic atmosphere in Europe in wake of the IDF’s operation in Gaza has become violent. An unknown assailant of Arab origin fired Wednesday afternoon shots towards a Dead Sea products sales booth in Odense, Denmark’s third largest city. Two Israelis were lightly injured. The Foreign Ministry is in contact with the Danish authorities and with the Odense police.

According to reports from Danish television’s Channel 2, one of the Israelis was injured in his arm and the other Israeli was injured in his leg at a concession stand selling Dead Sea products in a shopping center teaming with people in the city center.

The assailant fled by automobile. Danish police later found the car and are now attempting to locate the assailant.
