Ben-Ami Kadish, an 85-year-old American Jew, has admitted that he helped transfer information to Israel between 1979 and 1986. Kadish, who worked as a mechanical engineer in the American army, took home classified information and passed it on to Israel.
Kadish agreed to plea guilty in a federal court to one count of passing classified information and has been promised not to receive prison time. U.S. investigators have claimed that Kadish was in contact with the same Israeli agent as Jonathan Pollard.
