The government announced plans Tuesday to build a desalinization plant for Samaria in Hadera. The plant will cover 180 dunams of land at the city's industrial park.

The decision stated: “In the framework of discussion between Israel, the Palestinian Authority, and America it was found that the best way to provide water to Samaria to be a desalinization plant.”
