80 South African Jews will land in Israel Wednesday as the last immigrants of 2008. In total, 16,000 Jews made aliyah to Israel this year.
The number of South Africans arriving in Israel in 2008 doubled in relationship to the previous year. 60,000 Jews still remain in South Africa.
