Twelve terrorists were eliminated and 30 were wounded in an Israeli air strike on the northern Gaza towns of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya on Monday, including the home of Hamas terrorist leader Maher Zaqout, according to the HNN website. Zaquout was not home at the time.
Gaza sources say the house was destroyed and that the victims included members of Zaqout's immediate family. One of the other sites was reportedly a weapons warehouse. The Israeli military has not confirmed the story.
