Speaking to the British-based Sky News Saturday night, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that Israel's operation in Gaza could be widened to include a ground action. Barak did not specify when that would take place, but reports late Saturday night said that a number of tanks were headed in the direction of the Gaza border, and that infantry troops had been stationed in a number of areas near the border fence.
Meanwhile, IDF planes continued attacking targets in Gaza. A jeep carrying three terrorists holding rocket parts was fired at, sources in Gaza said. The IDF said that three terrorists were killed in the attack.
