Court Orders Michael Ratzon Restored to 24th Likud Slot

The Tel Aviv District Court on Saturday night ordered the Likud to restore Michael Ratzon to the 24th spot on the party's list, a day before the official final party lists were to be submitted to the National Elections Committee. The court ruled that the Likud elections committee was not authorized to override the results of the primary vote.

As a result of the decision, two other Likud hopefuls – Moshe Feiglin and Ehud Yatom – could be restored to the slots they were also pushed out of. A Likud source said that if Feiglin made an official request to the party's election committee, it was likely to be accepted, and he would be restored to the 20th spot on the party's list.
