Gaza terrorists attacked a kibbutz near Sderot several minutes ago, causing no injuries but resulting in damage to a security fence. It was the first attack of the day, following Wednesday's barrage of more than 80 Kassams, Grads and mortar shells that struck from the Gaza Belt to Ashkelon.
Analysts said they expect a relatively quiet day in the western Negev because Hamas does not want to embarrass Egypt, which is hosting Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni Thursday for talks on the possible resumption of a ceasefire agreement.
