(IsraelNN.com) A "normal country doers not supply its enemies with food and humanitarian aid," the Hebrew-language Yisrael HaYom newspaper stated in an editorial. The newspaper, owned by American Jewish billionaire Sheldon Adelson, has become the third most widely read Hebrew daily in the country.

The editorial also noted that Hamas enjoys the support of Gaza residents and that Israel should not carry out a ground counterterrorist operation but instead should selectively eliminate leaders, "since we are not talking about heads of state, but rather cruel terrorists."
