(IsraelNN.com) Kadima Knesset Member Shai Hermesh, a member of Kibbutz Kfar Aza, was forced to remain in a bomb shelter with his family Wednesday night instead of attending a Kadima party campaign meeting. He participated via a telephone call, in which he told colleagues, "The missiles have created a feeling of shock, but the people of the kibbutz have been attempting to retain sanity."

Kadima held its meeting in solidarity with residents of the western Negev who were assaulted with more than 80 rockets and mortar shells Wednesday.
