Over 530,000 Israelis received a flu vaccine in the last two months, Klalit Medical Services announced Wednesday.
The number of people immunized has broken the record of the last five years.
Dr. Giora Werber, a senior doctor of Klalit Medical Services, Israel’s largest HMO, attributes the rise to the public’s knowledge of the immunization’s importance and the health fund’s campaign of giving the shots to its members free of charge.
