Russian-born businessman Arcadi Gaydamak has secretly made his way out of Israel, according to a report Friday on the Russian-Israeli website News Ru. There had been restraining order against Gaydamak leaving because of business losses and debts run up in Israel.
Gaydamak was supposed to mortgage property in order to post a 2.5-million-dollar bond against his debts. Before leaving, he broke up his Social Justice party, which fared poorly in the recent Jerusalem elections. He is believed to have fled to Kazakhstan.
