The police arrested Matti Shavo in Hevron on Monday for violating an injunction forbidding him from entering Judea and Samaria. Shavo, who resides in Hevron, had previously said he would not obey the injunction as he believes it is anti-democratic.

Shavo received the injunction on December 4th and it forbade him from entering Judea and Samaria for three months. Since Shavo lives in Hevron, the injunction effectively expels him from his home.
