An Iranian newspaper said that protesters had thrown firebombs at a building housing the local offices of Saudi Arabia's national airlines, because of Riyadh's offer to recognize Israel in return for a full Israeli withdrawal from all lands liberated in the 1967 Six Day War. The building was attacked last Wednesday, the report said, by a local group upset at "the Saudi efforts to appease the occupiers of Jerusalem."

During the recent UN summit sponsored by Saudi Arabia, which was attended by President Shimon Peres, 200 people demonstrated outside the Saudi embassy in Tehran over the invitation extended to Peres.
