Police in Saudi Arabia have arrested a Galilee Arab for allegedly assaulting a police officer, a newspaper in Nazareth reported. Relatives of the suspect appealed to Arab Knesset Member Ahmed Tibi to intervene.

They said that the man was involved in a routine argument in Mecca, where approximately three million Muslims have crowded mosques for the yearly Muslim festival.
