Benny Begin, in an interview with “Non-Stop Radio” Wednesday morning said that he supports negotiations with Syria. Begin said, “We must always have negotiations whose purpose is a peace agreement between us and Syria, especially since we have peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan.”
Begin was voted into the number five spot on Likud’s election list two days ago, Monday. He is the son of former Prime Minister Menachem Begin, who completed the diplomatic agreement with Egypt in 1977.
