International Journalists Return to Gaza

(IsraelNN.com) Despite the launching of missiles by Gaza terrorists on Wednesday, foreign journalists were allowed entry into the Hamas-controlled area on Thursday, as several border crossings were opened, according to a defense official cited by the Jerusalem Post. It's the first time in about a month that the media has been given access to Gaza. Defense ministry spokesman Peter Lerner said, "It's going to be a day by day decision."

In addition, about 40 truckloads of humanitarian goods such as food and medication were let through the Kerem Shalom Crossing, 30 trucks of grain through the Karni Crossing and 400,000 liters of heavy duty diesel through the Nahal Oz fuel depot for Gaza's only power station. Lerner said it was the first time that Israel's blockade of goods going into Gaza had been eased in about a week,
