With votes counted at 113 of 195 stations, Welfare Minister Yitzchak Herzog and MK Ophir Pines-Paz are currently leading in the Labor primary elections. MK Shelly Yechimovich and MK Avishai Braverman are vying for third, in the places behind the first slot, reserved for chairman Ehud Barak.
Matan Vilnai is currently in the fifth slot, and Binyamin Ben-Eliezer is in sixth. Over 50 percent of Labor members turned out for the primary elections, relieving party leaders, who feared a low turnout.
