Knesset Member Dr. Tzvia Greenfield (Meretz) stated Wednesday that the “hilltop youth” in Hevron who speak about a holy war are really engaged in a war that nationalists perpetrate against the Jewish religion and everything that it represents.

“The attempt of the hilltop youths who act as representatives of the settlers to prevent the eviction of the House of Strife is only intended to physically control the political aims of its political camp and it has no basis with Jewish values,” Greenfield added.

Occupants of the Hevron Peace House recently received an eviction order from the Israeli Supreme Court. The residents, however, claim that they legally bought the home from the previous owner.
