(IsraelNN.com) The IDF has declared the area around the Peace House a closed military zone; security agencies decided Tuesday morning to do so.

Border Police deployed troops through the course of the day to restrict Jewish supporters of the house from violent demonstrations. Reserve soldiers were Tuesday evening mobilized to block access to the area by Jews who do not live in the area. Special unit troops were brought in Tuesday night, and the GOC of the IDF Central Command, Gadi Shamni signed the order.

At this time entering Palestinian Authority controlled sections of Hevron has become a criminal infraction of violating an IDF Central Command order.
