An Israeli court has found Abdel Aziz Duaek, the speaker of the PA lawmaking body, guilty of membership in a terrorist organization. He is one of more than 20 Hamas-affiliated members of the PA Parliament who Israel arrested shortly after Hamas captured IDF Corp. Gilad Shalit in 2006.

A number of those have been found similarly guilty and sentenced to prison terms of up to 3-1/2 years.

Duaek's lawyer told AP that sentencing for his client is scheduled for December 16.
