Peres: Moshe Holtzberg Asks Question and Carries Hope Reported: 14:45 PM - Dec/02/08
(IsraelNN.com) In his eulogy of the Holtzbergs, who were killed by Islamic terrorists in Mumbai at the end of last week, President Shimon Peres said there's a question that must be asked: "Why was Moishe's mother killed? That is the probing question for Moshe, who suddenly became an orphan. There is no explanation. We, the people of Israel, we are merely one nation, all of us. We know that 'in our blood' we will live… We also know that we must provide answers to questions… "Today the world is divided between two types of people, between those who are ready to shoot indiscriminately with beastlike cruelty, and people who want there to be an open world of human beings who were created in the image of the divine… "For his grandfather and grandmother, Moshe does not only bear that difficult question. He is also carries hope. He'll grow up. He'll continue with the great mission of Chabad, to the corners of the world. All of the nation cries today, all ask the question… But there is no end to our hope." ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
