Photographer Sparks New Violence in Hevron

Violence continued between hundreds of Arabs and Jews near the Peace House in Hevron on Tuesday morning after a photographer apparently told the Arabs to start throwing stones. Two Jews were lightly wounded by the rocks. Two Jewish activists were arrested for throwing stones.

Despite the presence of forces for the anticipated eviction of the residents of the Peace House, it took 20 minutes for Border Guards to arrive, and activists told Arutz 7 that they launched stun grenades at the Jews. A 15-year-old boy was lightly wounded in the hand and chest by one of the grenades. Yassam special police units arrived later to break up the two sides.

Dozens of Israeli cars driving to the area of the Tomb of the Patriarchs were damaged by Arabs throwing rocks. More soldiers and police are being sent to the area
