Trading on the Tel Aviv stock exchanged was delayed Tuesday morning when a theoretical decline in the Tel Aviv 25 (Maof) index went beyond 3.7 percent below the opening. The delay is activated for declines of more than 2.5 percent.

As of 11:13, the TA-25 was down 1.99 percent, the TA-100 2.17 percent and the Tel-Tech was down 2.02 percent. The real estate index, which opened down 5.4 percent, was down 1.46 percent.
