(IsraelNN.com) The economy has improved in Palestinian Authority-controlled regions of Judea and Samaria, according to a report compiled by the IDF Civil Administration. The report cited a three percent drop in unemployment and a 24 percent increase in the average daily wage.

IDF officials credited the improvement to increased cooperation between the PA and Israel and between the PA's fight against Hamas. The Hamas breakaway PA in Gaza has led to extreme poverty in the area as terrorist rocket attacks force the closure of crossings between Gaza and both Israel and Egypt.
