National Union Knesset Member Uri Ariel said Monday that he fears that Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria may have to pay with their lives for an army plan to take away 14 security positions in the area in order to finance outgoing Prime Minister Olmert's proposal to complete reinforcement of Gaza Belt communities against rocket attacks. The cuts will leave several regions without roving patrols that prevent thefts and create a deterrent against terrorist infiltrations.



Prime Minister Ehud Olmert plans to bring the Gaza fortification proposal up at the next Cabinet meeting on Sunday.
