The digital pay television company NDS said it is not firing any more employees following an earlier layoff of 100 workers, most of them at the research and development center in Har Hotzvim in Jerusalem, where 1,000 people work.
NDS stands to be bought out by the Murdoch News conglomerate if shareholders approve the offer, Murdoch already owns 72 percent of NDS, whose operations official Rafi Kesten said it is streamlining activities in the face of what it sees a "challenging" year. He added that research and development would not be affected.
