The price of gas in Israel will be lowered Sunday night at midnight by nine percent to five shekels per liter.  The price of gas has been going down since August, when it reached a high of seven shekels per liter. 

The drop in price is due to the lowering of the price of crude oil.  Crude oil has dropped in price due to the global recession and a drop in demand.
