Israeli officials praised Indian efforts during the hostage crisis in Mumbai and have no criticism of the way the Indian commandos handled the situation.  Sources in the foreign ministry stated that the commando forces were determined and competent. 

In addition, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert began the cabinet meeting Sunday morning by praising the Indian forces and authorities for keeping Israel up to date and added that at no point did Israel consider sending forces to help.
