Terrorists Planned To Blow up Hotel, Take Over Paper

The terrorists who carried out last week's attacks in Mumbai, India were as young as 18 years old, entered the province with false passports and checked in at the Taj Mahal Hotel, which they had planned to blow up, according to the Times of India newspaper. Their terrorist operation also was to include the takeover of the venerable newspaper.

The terrorists had checked into room 630 at the five-star luxury hotel. Two of them were hotel workers. They had in their possession thoroughly detailed plans of the hotel, which did not conduct any security checks on guests and visitors.
