Contrary to earlier reports, there were still terrorists at large in two luxuries in the Indian tourist resort and financial center of Mumbai. Media reports say troops have been able to rescue all the hostages who had been held by the terrorists. At least four Israelis were registered at the hotels.

The death toll in the terrorist attack, which started Wednesday, has risen to 130. More than 300 have been wounded.
