Indian security forces claimed late Thursday evening to have taken control of the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai, which was taken over by terrorists during the course of attacks on Wednesday.
There were reports of 39 hostages being freed from the Oberoi hotel, including four Israelis. Another 30 were reported trapped in a fire that broke out in the hotel as a result of fighting between security forces and terrorists. One terrorist was reported wounded in the fighting.
