Chairman Yaakov Amidror of the "public committee" selected to lead the Jewish House party announced on Thursday that there was no justification to renew discussion of primaries. In a letter written to the committee, Amidror said the party's Knesset members took back their announced intention to resign over the matter of primaries during a meeting they held with him Wednesday night.
Committee member, Rabbi Tsefaniah Drori told Arutz 7 yesterday that it was preferable for the committee to chose the party chairman -someone not serving in the Knesset - because the winner of primaries would only have the support of some members. He said that if such a person could not be found, the committee would pick a Member of Knesset.
