Commandoes are battling four terrorists in the Chabad House at this moment, according to the Chabad website. Indian television reported that one child has been rescued and was seen leaving the house and that two adults escaped. It was not known if they were Chabad Rabbi Gabriel Holtzberg, his wife Rivka and their young child.

Earlier, the bodies of a couple and a child were found outside the Chabad House, but they have not been identified.
