MK Ofir Pines-Paz (Labor) said on Sunday that former IDF Chief of Staff Moshe Yaalon was inflammatory when he said the assassination of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was an option to be considered in the battle against the Tehran government's nuclear development program, according to Ynet.
The Labor party propaganda chief said, "Yaalon's wild dreams and irresponsible statements about the elimination of Ahmadinejad may be good for the Likud primaries [where Yaalon is running for Knesset -ed.], but they'll ignite the Middle East, lead to the international isolation of Israel and interfere with attempts to scuttle the Iranian nuclear program."
