(IsraelNN.com) Defense Ministry sources said on Sunday night that if Hamas can strictly enforce 24 straight hours without Kassam rockets being fired from Gaza, Defense Minister Ehud Barak will order the opening of commercial crossings into the area according to Ynet.

Responding to reports that Hamas had accepted an Israeli offer to resume the reduction in  hostilities that has been in place since June 19th, more or less, sources in Jeruslem said that Barak would consult with security officials before deciding.  The sources denied there was a humanitarian crisis in the Hamas-controlled area.
