The central council of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) voted Sunday to name Fatach chairman Mahmoud Abbas president of the Palestinian state declared by his predecessor, arch-terrorist Yasir Arafat, in 1989, according to Ynet.

By virtue of the vote, Abu Mazen now holds the three titles held by Arafat. The other two are chairman of the PLO and chairman of the Palestinian Authority.
