Hamas commander Mussa Abu Marzuk claimed to Arabic newspaper Al Hayat that Israel sent text messages to, and called, a number of senior Hamas men in Gaza and in Syria to find information on Gilad Shalit, the paper reported Sunday.



Abu Marzook called the effort childish and useless. He also the Shalit process is frozen, and that Israel is responsible for freezing it.
