      Good Weather is Bad News

No rain is expected in Israel until Friday, except for possible scattered showers in the north early Sunday morning, leaving depleted water resources in worse shape. The long-term forecast calls for possible rain on Friday and the Sabbath. Israel faces water rationing in the spring, barring unusually heavy rains this winter.

High temperatures on Sunday will be 19 (66 F) in Jerusalem, Samaria and Gush Etzion and 23 (73 F) in Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva. It will warm up 2-3 degrees by Wednesday before dropping sharply on Friday. Low temperatures this morning are forecast at 12 degrees (54 F) in Jerusalem and 15 (59 F) in Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva.
