(IsraelNN.com) United States President-Elect Barack Obama plans to choose former Democratic party rival Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State, according to a senior US official quoted by AP. The two have held talks for the past several days, leading to rumors that Obama was considering Clinton for a top slot in his government.
If no major obstacles arise in the upcoming days, Obama will announce Clinton's appointment next week, officials said.
