Aides to United States President-Elect Barack Obama said Thursday that Obama does not support the Saudi Plan. Senior advisor Dennis Ross said a recent story in Britain's Sunday Times was false.

Ross said he could testify personally to the report being inaccurate. He attended a meeting between then-Senator Obama and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, he said, and Obama at no point told Abbas that Israel would be “crazy” to reject the Saudi Initiative.

The Sunday Times report was allegedly based on information from one of Obama's advisors.
