The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange halted trade early on Thursday losses passed 10 percent on the major indexes.

The Tel Aviv-100 and TA-25 both dropped 11.1 percent, while the Tel-Tech tumbled 10.5%. The real estate index  fell 15.5 percent.
