Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi told a gathering of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on Thursday that the objective of defeating world terror and bringing calm and stability to the citizens of the world is most complex because "our enemies the terrorists have become more and more sophisticated, and they use all the resources at their disposal to achieve their despicable ends."
Ashkenazi added, "The battlefield has expanded to include the field of ideology. Terrorists are determined never to give in and are ready to kill and be killed."
