The U.S. dollar climbed above the 4 shekel mark for a time on Thursday, for the first time in months. Even after it fell back below, it closed at an official Bank of Israel representative rate of NIS 3.998, up 0.731 % from Wednesday.

The Euro fell slightly Thursday, closing the day at an official rate of NIS 5.0081.
