Chairman of the National Union-National Union Knesset Faction MK Uri Ariel said Thursday morning in response to IDF claims that a soldier had been hurt and military vehicles damaged by Israel activists from the Peace House that from past experience we have already learned that agent provocateurs manage to bring out the worst in people.
"The Shinbet (Israel Security Agency) needs to check which of its provocateurs are working against the instructions of the [Peace House] camp," said MK Ariel. Ariel also called on Hevron's Jews to carefully examine whether there might not be another "Avishai Raviv" who is responsible for the morning's incidents.
Army Radio reported that Jewish rioters in the Hevron area painted graffiti such as, "Mohammed was a pig" on an Arab mosque and in an Arab cemetery.
