(IsraelNN.com) Israel's Ministry of National Infrastructures announced on Tuesday afternoon that it is confident that Israel's natural gas agreement with Egypt will continue under the terms the two countries agreed to in 2005. The ministry was responding to a ruling by a court in Cairo suspending the deal.

The ministry said it has no doubts about commercial agreements between the Egyptian gas company and its commercial customers in Israel, and said it was convinced that the fuel supply will continue. A higher court must confirm the Cairo court's decision.
