(IsraelNN.com) It was revealed Monday that the Israel Security Agency (Shabak), in cooperation with the Israeli police, arrested a young Arab woman who had been in contact with the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigade.  Sumiyah Abu Anem, a 21-year-old resident of Ramle, worked in a children's day care center and had intended to begin university this semester.

The Al Aksa Martyrs Brigade initiated contact with Abu Anem in September 2008 and requested her help in the kidnapping of an Israeli citizen. She expressed a willingness to participate.  The terrorists also requested her help in leading a female suicide bomber from Gaza to an Israeli population center.

Abu Anem was charged Monday in a Petach Tikvah Court on the charge of maintaining contact with a foreign agent.
