The Ministerial Committee on Symbols and Ceremonies decided on Sunday to establish an official annual ceremony to grant an award to those who excel in the fight against human trafficking.

Committee Chairman Yaakov Edery said "In light of the importance of the matter, it's appropriate to hold an official ceremony every year to grant an award and appreciation to those who excel in the struggle against this painful and difficult phenomenon."
